Job Description

PCG International is an investment manager focused on partnership and co-investment opportunities in select private equity markets outside the United States. PCGI has more than $1 billion in assets under management and has offices in Washington DC, California and Asia. PCGI has an opening for a Vice President of Marketing:

 

The Vice President will be responsible for coordinating the design and execution of PCGIs marketing plans with regard to both fundraising and investor relations, and will work closely with PCGIs Managing Directors to develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing investors.

 

Fundraising

  • Help develop and refine the Firm's fundraising and public relations strategies. 
  • Identifying and targeting key investors for fundraising, including corporate pension funds, public pension plans, endowments, foundations and high net worth investors globally
  • Initiating and executing the sales cycle from initial contact to funding close on PCGI products, both through direct contact with prospective investors, and by coordinating the Managing Directors' contacts with prospective investors

Existing Investors

  • Coordinate investor relations with existing investors through a regular calling plan, written communications and reporting
  • Assist with development of strategic planning and portfolio allocation for investors

General

  • Maintain the Firm's profile by coordinating, and participating directly in, the Firm's attendance at conferences, speaking engagements, educational seminars, etc.
  • Coordinate, manage and work with staff to design and develop product materials and other investor focused materials and reports
Qualifications

 Professional

  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of relevant or related experience, preferably in a fund-raising or investor relations capacity, at a reputable investment banking, private equity, placement or investment management firm
  • MBA or MA from a top tier school helpful but not necessary
  • Understanding of private equity investment management, preferably at least partly related to international markets
  • Demonstrated relationship management success with various types of institutions
